Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, an entertainment analyst has responded to Shatta Wale’s speech on his state of the industry address aired on June 2, 2021.
Speaking on the United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown, he expressed his admiration for the dancehall artiste in terms of gaining attention for himself at his convenience. However, he believes Shatta Wale is one of the most inconsistent and confused artiste in the industry.
“Shatta Wale is a smart artiste,” he said, considering his recent address to his fans and the nation and using that as a way of being in the news trend for a long time.
He believes the musician is tactful in gaining attention for himself because the issues he tackled in his speech were not new in the industry or country as a whole.
According to Arnold, the musician shamefully disgraced and blasphemed presenters and bloggers before his departure to the United States of America and then returned without an apology.
He added that Shatta Wale refused to support others’ efforts made to promote Ghanaian music but suddenly emerged with an agenda to help promote the industry.
He condemned his hypocrisy on the matters he raised in his address.
Shatta Wale is currently open to business and announces his official return to social media.
