The “Baajo” composer, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, better known as Kwesi Arthur has disclosed his

dream of recording a song with the Canadian rapper, Drake.

Speaking on Neat 100.9FM, he said that “before I started writing music, Drake was my biggest inspiration”.

Although the rapper hasn’t taken the initiative to collaborate with Drake, he believes it’s a gradual process.

He added that he admired the way the Canadian rapper expressed his life stories in his lyrics so he decided to

take it on. “Definitely, we will work on something soon,” he said.

According to Kwesi, he has plans to work with some Ghanaian high-lifers like Kojo Antwi,

Amakye Dede and the Late Daasebere Gyamenah. The artiste believes his kinds of music have a particular

target audience and impact.  Kwesi Arthur is yet to drop his first album in 2021 after over three years of music.

He holds it firm that, releasing an album is not a rush

“Son of Jacob is coming out “, Kwesi said

Kwesi was nominated for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. He is currently considered one of the

best young artists in Ghana, and Africa.
