Steaman Group of Companies, a business entity that deals in real estate, road construction, farming, entertainment, and other services, has launched an e-commerce platform.
At the launch held at their office at East Legon on Thursday, June 11, 2021, the Vice Chairman of Steaman, Nana Obeng Brentuo said their e-commerce service seeks to make online shopping more convenient.
“We believe that there is a clarion call on online shopping with the advent on covid we believe that it is time we came in to play our part. And so we believe that the launch of e-commerce to help us to facilitate trading between members and shoppers,” he said.
Nana Brentuo intimated that they also believe that they have to play their part in developing the space.
According to him, even though e-commerce has been in Ghana for a number of years now, Steaman sees it as a fertile ground to till its operations.
They have a strategy to cover all of the sixteen regions in the country by way of getting dedicated staff in areas of vending and delivery.
