Lynx Entertainment signee, KiDi, has congratulated gospel musician Diana Hamilton, after losing out the Artiste of the Year award to her, at the 2021 VodafoneGhana Music Awards.
Diana Hamilton beat off stiff competition from Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Adina, Medikal, and KiDi, who prior to the awards night had been touted by many as the possible winner.
After picking up his fourth award for the night, he announced that he would be back to take another one; which gave the impression he would win the overall Artiste of the Year award.
After the awards, a lot of people who were shocked that KiDi did not win, took to social media to express their disappointment.
But KiDi took to Twitter to congratulate the ‘Adom’ hitmaker.
“To God be the Glory. Thank you, Ghana. Huge congrats Aunty Diana,” he wrote.
