Ghanaian rapper and musician Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name Fameye, has expressed his disappointment on the current security state of the country.
The musician took to Facebook to convey his thoughts on the ongoing brutalities in some parts of the nation.
“Ghana is only peaceful on paper and chats,” he wrote.
According to Global Peace Index Report published in June, Ghana was ranked the second most peaceful country in Africa by the Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP).
Fameye believes the country’s position in the Global Peace Index Report contradicts the actual circumstances the country faces and urged the youth to stand for their right.
In recent news, there have been consistent cruelties in some parts of the country where military officers were seen in viral videos assaulting civilians.
The “Nothing I Get” hit-maker included that, the country has been claiming peace yet violence seen each and every day. He concluded by sharing his condolence to civilians who lost their lives during the savagery.
Fameye is known for the songs ‘Addiction’, ‘Nothing I get’ and others.
