Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr. known in the music industry as Akwaboah has revealed his dream profession before he pursued music.
Speaking on the Citi Countdown on Citi TV with Emmanuel Sapong, he disclosed that his interest was to be a doctor until he diverted.
“Apart from music, I wanted to be a doctor,” he told the host. Akwaboah originates from a musically inclined family going as far back to his grandfather being a great musician.
His passion for a profession in medicine was hindered by his poor performance in mathematics and then decided to focus on music.
The highlife musician added that his father is his greatest critic and believes he contributes about 60% of ideas to his music.
According to Akwaboah, he wasn’t forced into music even though it was a legacy in his family. He dreams of passing the talent onto his next generation.
Akwaboah recently dropped ‘Ensesa’ and is yet to release an album titled, ‘Light House’.
