Efia Odo seems to be tired of all the struggles she has been through for championing the #FixTheCountry’ protests in the country.
According to her, engaging in the campaign has taken a toll on her mental health.
“I will like to take this time to let you all know that I’m going on a hiatus. My mental health is at stake at the moment. My love for this country and humanity has turned into something I am not, political. I am of peace and equality. My heart and intentions are as pure as gold. The things are too heavy for me right now. Take care,” she wrote on social media.
Efia Odo has been very vocal about things that are drawing the development of Ghana back.
Since she set out to spearhead this agenda with other celebrities, she has been pelted with insults, derision, and threats from people.
She is also among the people who got arrested for protesting in the court promises at a court hearing of the case on whether or not the group should be allowed to stage a street protest.
