Ghana Weekend has learned that actress Efia Odo has lost an ambassadorial deal because she has suspended all her activities on social media.
The company called Euro Decor Home Limited has suspended the deal because it requires that Efia posts them on her social media platforms for the promotion.
On July 7, 2021, Efia announced that she was going on a hiatus. She said that the decision was to protect her mental health.
“I will like to take this time to let you all know that I’m going on a hiatus. My mental health is at stake at the moment. My love for this country and humanity has turned into something else I am not. political. I am of peace and equality. My heart and intentions are as pure as gold. Things are too heavy for me right now. Take care,” she wrote.
This was after her spearheading the #FixTheCountry campaign.
Meanwhile, the decor company has stated in a letter published by Nkonkonsa.com that they had suspended her contract.
