Music producer Eyoh Soundboy who is currently battling kidney complications has said in a recent interview that contrary to claims that his condition may have been as a result of smoking or taking alcohol, he has never tried any of those substances.
“I don’t smoke, I don’t take alcohol. I hardly go out. My sickness is not as a result of these acts,” he told Sammykay in an interview.
The music producer who has been ill for some time now is soliciting financial support through a gofundme account, created by comedian/musician David Oscar Dogbe, to cater for his dialysis.
They are raising an amount of €13,000 (GHS 91,810.55) for the treatment.
He was diagnosed with a kidney problem and has since been confined to a spot and going through three (3) sessions of dialysis per week.
Without sufficient financial assistance, his costs for dialysis alone are starting to mount and he may stand little to no chance at survival.
The targeted amount is the cost of dialysis for a period of 12 months.
According to his wife, her husband started feeling unwell six months ago but was diagnosed with the sickness two months ago.
