Jamrock presents Jerk and Reggae Festival, an Afro-dancehall day party in celebration of Jamaica’s independence.
The programme will be held at Oak Plaza from Friday, August 6, 2021, to Sunday, August 8, 2021.
The activities will be launched on the first day with performances by the Swiss Band, Confidence Band, and special guest artistes. A musical tribute shall also be paid to Maisie Howell.
On Saturday, the forecourt of Jamrock at Oak Plaza Hotel transforms into a mini bazaar, with exciting details from the vendors of health, crafts, clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, and many more. There will be music from CLOGSAG Band, Kwame Nkrumah and Friends, DJ Nortiqa, and DJ Aroma.
With King Lagazee on the mic as MC, the festival wraps up on Sunday, August 8 with a sound system and dancehall, poolside BBQ, and artistes such as Epixode, Donryfic, Syonhero and Deep Louka.
