Ghanaian broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has clarified the claims he made a few weeks ago that while he managed defunct group Wutah he did not get a part of the money they were paid for their Glo ambassadorial deal.
According to him, stories that went around after his interview on Joy FM were misconstrued.
He told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that he actually got his share of the initial tranches of the money that came in. He said what he was denied the last tranche that came after the group split.
KOD had said on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z that one of the reasons Wutah duo collapsed was Afriyie’s suggestion to get the bigger part of the revenue.
He, therefore, noted that the group did not give him his share of the Glo ambassadorial deal (which he facilitated) because they claim he had not worked for a period they had split.
