Barima Sydney has shared his opinion on one of his religious beliefs.
He told TV XYZ that he doesn’t believe in God but believes in Jesus Christ.
“I’m a believer, not Christian, I’m a true believer of Christ. everyone can be a Christian because everyone goes to church, a believer is the one with the Holy Spirit,” he said.
Sidney, therefore, noted that he does not mention God in anything he does. He rather mentions Christ Jesus.
The ‘Africa Money’ hitmaker said he doubts if there are three chairs in heaven for God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Speaking about the biblical story of God sending his only begotten Son to the earth, Sydney claims that at first, God used to deal with humankind directly as the father then he realized that it won’t help so he had to come in human nature.
He came to have a feel of our flesh and to tell us all we need to know after he left and asked the spirit to stay with us.
Barima Sidney, known for songs like ‘Obiaa Nnye Obiaa’, ‘Tinana’, ‘Paano Hyew’, among others.
