T.I. is coming to Lizzo’s defense after the Grammy Award winner had a tearful moment on Instagram Live about all the hate she’s received since dropping “Rumors” with Cardi B.
Yesterday, the Hustle Gang boss headed to Instagram Live with a message for Lizzo, who has been a huge advocate for body positivity long before exploding onto the scene in 2019 with Cuz I Love You.
TI said, quote: “I don’t know Lizzo personally. Listen, sweetheart, you are beautiful, you are talented, you are good enough for all the great things the world has to offer, don’t wait on anybody out there in the public to validate that.
Their perception of you has more to do with them than it does with you. All these people who out here who have negative things to say it’s because they feel negatively about themselves.” He said.
Lizzo took her frustrations to Instagram on last week saying smetimes she feels like the world just don’t love her back. It’s like it doesn’t matter how much positive energy she puts into the world, she still has people who have something mean to say about her.
She said quote, “”And for the most part it doesn’t hurt my feelings; I don’t care. I just think when I’m working this hard, my tolerance gets lower. My patience is lower. I’m more sensitive and it gets to me.”
Lizzo said the fat-phobic and racist commenta about her are hurtful.
