The AJ Sarpong Foundation as part of the recent Sallah celebration distributed to the elderly women and widows in Nungua Zongo for Sallah or Eid-Al-Adha.
This was done in collaboration with #WilmarAfrica, producers of Frytol Oil, Fortune Rice, and Frytol Seasoning.
AJ Sarpong, the founder of this initiative, donated bags of Fortune Rice, Frytol Oil, and Frytol Shrimp and mixed spices seasoning in collaboration with Wilmar Africa and Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu (KOKA).
The AJ Sarpong Foundation with help from the Assemblyman of the Area Abdulai Sakra organized the donation aimed at putting smiles on the elderly women in the community during the festive period.
“It was such a pleasure to do my bit to help and collaborate with such incredible Partners like @frytoloilghana to make this happen! It feels good to help and the smiles were priceless! Looking forward to more collaborations and more giving!” she said.
The host of ‘Brunch in the Citi’ on Citi 97.3 FM and ‘The Chat’ on Citi TV, made a similar donation to some underprivileged residents of Teshie in Accra in February this year.
