While some people revel in being indie artistes, others find it quite challenging.
Dahlin Gage, a former Black Avenue Muzik signee, has confessed that being an artiste without a record label is quite difficult.
When asked in an interview on YFM about how he is faring since he parted ways with D-Black’s record label, he said, “with the label, D-Black knows a lot of people so you’ll be getting some benefits. Thanks to him. Going solo, on the other hand, is a bit rough but I’m a man so I can push through.”
Dahlin Gage left the BAM label in 2019 because according to him, he was worried he was not getting to release songs at his own pace.
Even though he acknowledged that D-Black was doing a good job, he said he felt there was a lot of pressure on D-Black since he was catering for about seven artistes at the time.
Dahlin Gage just released a new Amapiano song titled ‘Give Dem’ which is currently out on all streaming platforms and is making waves on tiktok.
He also has songs such as Potato, Bed Time, and Come Take.
