It wasn’t ‘Mother’s Day’ but the atmosphere at Nana Asaase’s ‘Mental Pictures V’ was one filled with a lot of adulation for mothers.

Dubbed ‘Confluence: the flute belongs to Mother,’ the programme took place on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Accra City Hotel.

The programme put together by poet and literary coach, Nana Asaase, took the form of literary readings, cultural renditions fashion, music, and art exhibition.

The ‘Mental Pictures’ event after taking a break for six years, bounced back with a bang, as all the performers enthralled patrons with their crafts.

Apart from Nana Asaase, other artists that performed at the event are Chief Moomen, Nii Saki (Roverman), Ewurabena, Yayra Xylophone, Terry, Emma Ofosua Donkor, and Mc Nii Mantse.
