Some music fans have expressed disappointment over why Lyrical Joe has not earned a nomination for the best rapper in any award scheme before, let alone win that slot.
However, the Ghanaian rapper seems unperturbed. He says he’s biding his time.
Speaking to AJ Sarpong on ‘The Chat’ of Citi TV, Joe said he believes he is a good rapper but the opportune time for him to win the best rapper award is not yet ripe.
According to him, he wants to get to a level where when he gets nominated, his win will come without a shred of doubt.
Lyrical Joe is currently out with his second EP titled ‘Vibes.’
It features Tulenkey, Kofi Mole, Strongman, Fameye, Camidoh, KoJo Cue, and Bbird.
So far, his songs, Goodness and Mercy and Knack have gotten a huge reception from music lovers.
He says his record label 2MG Music has added a lot to his brand since he signed on to them a year ago.
