Ghanaian rapper, Blackway, has registered a new milestone in his rap career.
In 2018 Blackway collaborated with DJ duo Black Caviar on a soundtrack to the film ‘The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ called ‘What’s Up Danger.’
The song was featured on the official soundtrack and was nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the Grammys in 2020.
The album soundtrack has since been certified double platinum.
Reacting to this milestone, Blackway took to Twitter and Instagram to show off a screenshot of the certification for the achievement.

However, ghanaweekend.com checks on the RIAA website per their last update show that the single hasn’t gone platinum yet.
According to the RIAA website, a song/album is said to be “Double-Platinum” when it has sold over 2,000,000 copies in the United States. The program will count both sales and streams for single and album certifications.
