Nigerian artiste Joeboy has told AJ Sarpong in an interview that starting his music career was not easy.
He said on Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM that before he became a known artiste, an MC once snatched a microphone from him when he was performing on stage.
Joeboy said even though it was difficult getting into the limelight, when the time was right for him to shine, he got noticed.
He also said that the first pay he got when he got into mainstream music, was GHS 50,000.
Joeboy also recounted how Mr. Eazi spotted his talent and projected him through his Empawa project.
