2020, VGMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Celestine Donkor, says her desire to fulfil her passion as a minister of the gospel is what motivates her to continue her musical journey and not the number of awards and recognitions to be won.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Ghana Weekend TV, the singer said it would be inappropriate for gospel artists to be aiming for awards every year while they can channel their resources towards the development of other important aspects in ministry.
Celestine Donkor won the award for Female Artiste of the Year at the 2021 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards.
