It is not clear what may have led to Sammy Flex’s resignation from Zylofon FM but sources say he may have been axed because he runs a prominent showbiz programme called ‘Showbiz Daily’ on his YouTube channel – a situation which may have been considered as a conflict of interest by the station.
Zylofon FM and Zylofon TV are owned by the Chief Executive Officer of the defunct gold dealership company Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1).
Sammy Flex until his resignation, was the host of the station’s flagship programme ‘Showbiz Agenda’.
Sammy Flex, the founder of Flex newspaper, has worked with Pluzz FM, Okay FM, Atinka FM/TV, Capital TV, TV7, among others.
He is the first person to have started an entertainment discussion morning show in Ghana when he was at Pluzz FM.
