Black Avenue Muzik boss, D-Black, has an explanation for all those who have a problem with his latest song titled ‘Begye.’
The song, which some people have described as profane, has generated controversy because of its controversial nature.
But explaining the inspiration to Kwame Dadzie on Ghana Weekend TV, D-Black said the song was couched from a viral video of school pupils and their teachers singing.
D-Black also said in the interview that he wouldn’t mind supporting his artiste Sefa if they get a nomination in the same category at any awards.
According to him, because he has won a lot of awards in the past and has been in the game long before Sefa, when it happens that the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards or the 3Music awards nominate any of their songs, he’ll throw his weight behind the Black Avenue Muzik signee.
D-Black said if they get nominated in about five categories, and he wins just one, he wouldn’t be bothered.
D-Black and Sefa have two hit songs (‘Enjoyment Minister’ and ‘Echoke’) that a lot of people have tipped for nominations in various awards schemes.
