Kumerica rapper, Jay Bahd, has shared a video of the group meeting the brother of American rapper and record producer Pop Smoke, who is noted for popularizing the drill genre of rap music across the globe.
Pop Smoke was murdered during a home invasion in Los Angeles in February 2020.
In the video, Archipaplago, a US-based Ghanaian vlogger is seen introducing Mike Dee, who is also a rapper, to the Kumasi boys.
The Asakaa Boys, made up of nine members: Jay Bahd, Kawabanga, City Boy, Reggie, Kwaku DMC, Sean Lifer, Rabby Jones, and Braa Benk, became hugely popular after featuring on Yaw Tog’s hit song, “Sore.”
The group left Accra’s Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on 20th October and has already thrilled fans with a performance in New York City (NYC).
