Events expert and Creative Director of Purple Twirl Events, Abokuma Ellis, has advised event goers to make it a habit of inspecting bathrooms whenever they attend a programme.
Speakiing about event vending in Ghana’s entertainment industry, Ms Ellis urged the public to ensure that washrooms at venues where events are organised are clean and have running water.
She added that other things event organizers look out for are car parks, kitchen, and a reliable source of power.
According to her, one of the biggest challenges event organizers face is getting access to venues before the event day.
She said even though organizers need to have access to a venue a few days prior to the main programme, the situation is different in most parts of the country as venue owners tend to sell the days to other event organizers due to the limited number of event centres.
