Nominees for 5th Vikil20 Eastern Music Awards unveiled

Hi 5 Empire, the organisers of the Eastern Music Awards, have unveiled the nominees’ list for this year’s event.

This year’s edition would be the 5th since the event began, and it is expected to bring together musicians and music stakeholders in the Eastern Region.

The list will cover thirty-two (32) categories. Out of these, twenty-six (26) categories of the nominees in these categories would be voted for through a short code (*800*000#) followed by the nominee’s code and the cast of votes to decide winners on the main event day.

Voting would be determined through 60% public voting, 30% by the board, and 10% by the academy.

Voting commences from 3rd November to 18th December 2021 at 12 noon.

The main event slated for Saturday 18th December, 2021, will be held at Koforidua Technical University Hall (Abba Bentil Theatre).
