Kwabena Kwabena, Kuami Eugene, Akwaboah and KiDi, are not on the list of young artistes legendary Ebo Taylor is looking forward to doing a music project with them.
The highlife legend, in an interview with Kafui Dei on GTV, said to do any collaboration with an artiste they must sound originally Ghanaian.
Particularly making reference to Akwaboah, he said the ‘Posti Me’ hitmaker sounds too ‘wild’.
He however said he would love to do a song with Kofi Kinaata and Okyeame Kwame, on whose song [Made in Ghana] he featured.
Ebo Taylor is a Ghanaian guitarist, composer, bandleader, record producer, and arranger whose forte lies in highlife and afrobeat music.
He has been a pivotal figure on the Ghanaian music scene for over six decades.
In the late 1950s, he was active in the influential highlife bands the Stargazers and the Broadway Dance Band.
