Stonebwoy is not only concerned about making music; he is also keen on getting better academically.
He says he is currently studying for a degree at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
In an interview on the Point of View on Citi TV, Stonebwoy said he has returned to school to augment the knowledge he gained at the University of Professional Studies, where he graduated with a degree in marketing.
He said he is pursuing a higher study in Public Administration.
In secondary school, Stonebwoy was a Business and Accounting student.
Asked how as a celebrity he relates with his course mates, Stonebwoy said “it’s normal, they give me fans, but I know I am there to learn and that’s the most important thing.”
The award-winning musician of international repute is using music to address issues pertaining to illegal mining in Ghana.
The new song, titled ‘Greedy Men’, highlights the detrimental effects of illegal small-scale gold mining in Ghana, often known as ‘galamsey’.
