Despite being admired and hailed for his exceptional rap skills, Amerado does not intend to be a rapper for the whole of his music career.
He said in an interview with Tilly Akua Nipaa on OnePlay Africa that one day, he’ll relax on rap and turn to reggae music.
“One day I’d wish to become a reggae artiste and maybe make the rap part-time,” he said.
According to him, doing reggae music comes easily to him than stringing words to make rap.
“I do reggae with ease than anything,” he added, saying that Samini is one person who inspires his style of reggae music.
He also said he is a fan of the late South African reggae icon, Lucky Dube.
Amerado was nominated in the Best Rapper of the Year category in the 2021 3Music Awards and the Best Rap Performance of the Year in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2021.
One of the highest moments in his rap career was his lyrical battle with Obibini.
After releasing a reggae song ‘Box of Memories’, he also added on to his ‘Patience EP’.
