Ghanaian artiste King Promise mounted the stage yesterday to perform at Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ concert.
The concert took place at the 02 Arena in London.
King Promise got a great reception when he was introduced onto the stage to perform.
Born Gregory Bortey Promise Newman, the ‘Slow Down’ singer is famed for his brilliant songwriting abilities and soothing songs.
At a time when conversations about pushing Ghanaian acts to world stages are ongoing, King Promise’s feature on Wizkid’s show holds a great promise for the future of Ghanaian music.
Another artiste that performed at Wizkid’s concert was American singer Chris Brown who used a moment to electrify the stage.
Wizkid started his tour in the United States of America in September after successfully putting up impressive shows.
He has been nominated in the Global Music Album category in the 2022 Grammy Awards.
