Dancehall artiste, Samini, has said that he was the only artiste that got featured on Rocky Dawuni’s first Grammy-nominated album in 2015.
Titled Branches of the Same Tree, that album was nominated in the Best Reggae Album category in 2015.
According to him, his feature on Rocky’s album gave him the closest shot to the Grammys.
Samini said this while he invited the Grammy-nominated artiste on the Rhythms on Da Runway stage to pay tribute to him.
He acknowledged Rocky’s music artistry and commended him for getting a nomination for the second time.
Rocky Dawuni has been nominated for the second time in the Grammy Awards.
His ‘Voice of Bunbon Vol. 1’ album has earned a nomination in the Best Global Music Album category.
He has therefore called on all Ghanaians to pray for him and support him to win the award.
