The Spokesperson for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2020 election campaign, James Agyenim Boateng, has called out Sarkodie Twitter, describing him as a politician pretending to be a musician.
This comes barely 12 hours after commercial drivers unions in the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions embarked on an industrial action to protest against recent increments in fuel prices.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng shared a screenshot of a 2013 tweet by the rapper, who was criticising the then administration (headed by President John Mahama) over the cost of fuel.

I think it’s fair to say that Sarkodie is a politician masquerading as a musician or better still he’s both.
Nothing incriminates a man more than his own words. pic.twitter.com/WL8vN0V0tB
