Omar Sterling aka Paedae says it took some effort to change the style of fellow groupmate, Mugeez, from a rapper to a singer during the formative stages of R2Bees.
Speaking in an interview with Ghana Weekend, Paedae, revealed that he noticed that Mugeez had a unique singing voice every time he sang in their demos.
“Even though we were both rappers, I realised he had a good singing voice so I encouraged him to do more of it.”
He added that the decision to allow Mugeez to concentrate on singing also brought variety to the group and expanded their fanbase.
