Teenage rapper, Yaw Tog, has expressed shock after checking his results in the 2021 West African Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
The young rapper’s WASSCE performance has become a subject for discussion on social media following a joke he made about the recently-released results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
“I JUST CHECKED MY WASSCE RESULTS” adding that “MEYAM KORAA AHYE ME,” meaning “I’m even shocked” in Twi.
Yaw Tog wrote this year’s WASSCE as a candidate from Opoku Ware School in Kumasi where he came to the limelight in his final year after his song, “Sore” went viral and won him the award for Hip-hop song of the year at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
I JUST CHECKED MY RESULTS NA MEYAM KORAA AHYE ME.
