After putting up a show-stopping performance at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2021, D’Banj continues to receive praises from netizens, most of whom are hailing his performance as one of the most memorable ever.
Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, aka D’banj was the born in 1980 in Zaria, Northern Nigeria. He founded Mo’ Hits Records with producer Don Jazzy and became one of the continent’s most notable artistes winning several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009, Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.
