Less than 48 hours after Kumasi-based rapper, Yaw Tog, premiered the official video of his new single titled “Seimu” on YouTube, the video has generated more than 100,000 views, securing him the #Number 2  position on the list of the most trending videos in Ghana.

The teenage rapper recently made headlines after expressing shock at his 2021 West African Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).

His WASSCE performance became a popular subject on social media following a joke he made about the recently-released results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

“I JUST CHECKED MY WASSCE RESULTS” adding that “MEYAM KORAA AHYE ME,” meaning “I’m even shocked” in Twi.

Yaw Tog wrote this year’s WASSCE as a candidate from Opoku Ware School in Kumasi where he came to the limelight in his final year after his song, “Sore” went viral and won him the award for Hip-hop song of the year at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
