South Korean musician, Jeong Dong-uk, aka Penomeco, has branched into African pop music with a song called “Bolo” which is receiving positive reviews online from Africans and non-Africans.
Born on October 7, 1992, Penomeco is a rapper and member of the Korean hip-hop crew Fanxy Child.
He was declared the final winner of Mnet’s music battle show Breakers in June 2018.
His 2021 afro-beat-influenced song, Bolo, has gone viral on video-sharing platform, Tiktok, with over 600,000 views on YouTube alone.
