Afropop superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido has joined the long list of global brand ambassadors of international Sports company PUMA.
Davido announced the good news to his more than 20 million followers on social media on Friday.
According to the singer he has known PUMA since childhood and acknowledges the significant role it has played to the development of sports in Africa, sponsoring several football federations. 
I also saw the kind of family PUMA had built with the likes of Usain Bolt, Maradona, Neymar, Jay Z, Nipsey, Rihanna, Lewis Hamilton among other superstars and I thought, that’s an amazing family to be a part of!
“All these contribute to my excitement to collaborate with this brand and take it to the next level in Nigeria, Africa as well as with fans across the world.
As an ambassador, Davido signed a long-term agreement to promote the company’s commitment to the African market.
