A lot of people have wondered why Ghanaian comic actor and a professional teacher, Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Teacher Kwadwo would be sacked from the Ghana Education Service.
While announcing on his Facebook page, he did not state, for professional reasons, why his appointment was terminated.
Some have suggested that his constant criticism on the education system in Ghana may have precipitated this action.
However, a letter dated 27th October, 2021 from the Ghana Education Service indicates that his appointment was terminated because he was absent from school for 55 days and also failed to prepare his lesson notes.
It also states that Teacher Kwadwo demonstrated gross insubordination against his officers.
