Bice ‘Obour’ Osei Kuffour, a former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), has been appointed as the Managing Director of Ghana Post Company Limited.
Ghana Post Company Limited is the institution responsible for postal service in Ghana.
The company has a legal monopoly over the provision of universal postal services. It provides postal, courier, retail, agency, and financial services for its customers for profit.
The musician-turned-politician lost the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary primaries to the Member of Parliament for the Asante Akyem South Constituency, Mr. Kwaku Asante-Boateng, in October 2020.
Earlier, some had predicted that he would be named as the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, but that appointment went to music producer Mark Okraku-Mantey.
