After a successful comedy event a few weeks ago, OB Amponsah has embarked on a ‘Thank You’ tour to appreciate and honour all sponsor partners of the historic ‘Popular But Broke’ show.
A team comprising OB Amponsah, his management and entourage visited the industries and offices of sponsor institutions and individuals to express appreciation for their support.
The ‘Popular but Broke’ special earned rave reviews from several tabloids and blogs after coming off at the National Theatre last Saturday.
The event, headlined by OB Amponsah, also featured other outstanding comedians including Lekzy De Comic and Fritz Baffour. The latter was making a return to stand-up after a two-decade hiatus.
More than 1,500 thronged the national theatre to watch nine stand-up comedians perform on Ghana’s first all-star comedy weekend.
The ‘Popular but Broke’ comedy event was brought to you by 3Media Productions/3Music, powered by Joy Entertainment and sponsored by Kri8 Concepts, GH Media school, Verna, Asta Printing with media support from Pluzz FM, Citi Fm/TV, Neat FM and Ghana Weekend.
Others were Kobby Kyei News, Ghana Web, EIB Network, NYDJ Live, Graphic Showbiz, Angel Drive, Ghanandwom, Pulse Ghana, Ameyawdebrah.
OB Amponsah presented citations and cakes to the event’s sponsors in appreciation of their support.
