Stonebwoy pulled off another successful show at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Zylofon’s Akiyana opened the night with an electrifying performance, making way for Fameye who also came on stage to treat patrons to his songs.
Obibini, also a Zylofon signee came on to treat music lovers to songs like ‘Yardie’ remix on which he featured Stonebwoy.
Epixode came through right after Obibini with a reggae dancehall performance to cement his name as the reigning Dancehall Artiste of the Year of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Artiste manager Mr Logic and King Lagazee, Reggae and Dancehall promoter were on stage to introudce the Dancehall Cypher which saw 12 young and talented new acts mount the stage to showcase their Reggae and Dancehall prowess. Four artistes from the 12 performers were shortlisted and made to go through the final stage.
After Amanfour Girls hitmaker, Quamina MP performed, it was the turn of Dope Nation to dish out their hit songs back-to-back.
Ekorso hitmaker Kofi Jamar paved the way for Fante Rap God, Kofi Kinaata who performed songs like ‘Thy Grace’ with a live band.
Sefa, Black Avenue Music signee thrilled patrons with her popular ‘Echoke’. She was joined by Mr Drew, who later treated listeners to his danceable songs with some crazy dance moves that got patrons yearning for more.
Empress Gifty took over the fort after Sefa and Mr Drew’s performance to thrill fans with her lovely gospel songs as though it was a church programme. Performing with a live band, Empress Gifty dazzled patrons with the popular ‘Wha Sha Wa Say’ song that got the whole crowd in a frenzy.
The Volta Regime era boss, Edem came through with an electrifying performance as patrons were clearly set in the mood to jam and party hard.
Kwaw Kese aka Abodam, CEO of Mad Time Entertainment who has been quite silent on the music industry was also on stage to support Stonebwoy.
There were other performances by Grind Day hitmaker, Kwesi Arthur, Mona 4Reall and MzVee.
The highlight of the event was when Samini joined Stonebwoy and Beenie Man on stage. It was a great sight to behold because Stonebwoy and Samini have been at loggerheads.
It was also refreshing to see the three dancehall giants spit some wild lines through their freestyle session.
