Obrempong Owusu Twum-Barima, popularly known as Dr. Rokoto, has relaunched himself on YouTube under the name, Rokoto Rozato.
Now based in the United States of America (USA), Dr. Rokoto, who is also chief of Apeade in the Eastern Region, uses his new vlog, themed, “Kakaweadwe” to throw more light on Akan culture and values.
Dr. Rokoto was a household name in Ghana in the 1990s — appearing in several episodes of the popular storytelling show, By The Fireside, alongside main host, Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono).
The chemistry between the two made the show extremely popular among children during the period it aired on the nation’s only television station at that time, GTV.
