Kumawood actress, Christiana Awuni says the late Prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku aka Apraku My Daughter, used fraudulent means to deprive her of her hard-earned cash during a special church programme held at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre.
According to the actress, her experience with Apraku, ‘My Daughter’ and other rogue prophets, informed her decision to stop going to church after several years of service and dedication to Christian ministry.
“I used to go to church a lot, but I stopped after encountering several rogue pastors, some of whom even wanted to sleep with me.”
She said she was once scammed by Apraku during one of his programmes held at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
“Apraku told us to bring our personal savings for ‘doubling,’ but he took the monies and refused to give anything back to the many people he deceived,” she disclosed.

Apraku started King Jesus Evangelistic Ministry International in the late 1990s, and his prophetic programs made him a hugely popular.
He had around 25 church branches in his prime, with some in the United States, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, but he lost all of them to his junior pastors in less than a year.
On May 2020, Apraku’s lifeless body was discovered inside his single room apartment located at Bawjiase near Kasoa in the Central Region after years of living in solitude.
