Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty has joined Shatta Wale in the fight to see Nigerians reciprocate the love Ghanaians show them.
While Shatta Wale is focused on the entire music industry, Empress is more concerned about the gospel side.
Empress Gifty in a video expressed her displeasure with Nigerian gospel musicians, wondering why they are worshiped in Ghana, but the story is different for the Ghanaian gospel artiste in Nigeria.
She complained about how Ghanaian gospel musicians don’t get to headline events in Nigeria, as it is done for their Nigerian counterparts in Ghana.
Empress added that most times when Nigerian musicians are in Ghana for Programmes, they feel too big to mingle with the Ghanaians.
She said these Nigerians even feel reluctant to promote shows they are billed to headline in Ghana.
Since Shatta Wale broached this topic during his Freedom Concert on 25th December last year, a lot of conversations have gone on with regards to balancing the love between these two countries.
