KiDi’s 2021 hit, ‘Touch It’ has won a nomination in the 2022 NAACP Image Awards.
Touch It was nominated into the ‘Outstanding International Song’ category, together with “Essence” by Wizkid’s, “Understand” by Omah Lay, “Somebody’s Son” by Tiwa Savage and “Peru” by Fireboy DML.
The 53rd NAACP Image Awards will be aired live on February 26th 2021 on BET.
Nominees for the award show were announced during a special virtual event hosted by actor and musician Kyla Pratt, “Black-ish” actor Marcus Scribner and singer-songwriter Tinashe on the NAACP’s Instagram account.
The NAACP Image Award is an annual award given by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in the United States to recognize exceptional achievements in film, television, theatre, music, and literature.
Founded in 1909, the NAACP is America’s largest and most widely recognized civil rights organization.
