A comment made by celebrated gospel musician Celestine Donkor on Adom FM has generated heated debates among music lovers.
A few weeks after Empress Gifty said she spent $40,000 on her new song titled ‘Eye Woaa’, Celestine has said in the interview that she would rather invest that money into rice business.
Even though Celestine did not refute the fact that a music video could cost that much, she intimated it would be too much an amount for her to spend on a music video.
She noted that the cost of shooting a music video in Ghana will not be less than GHS 12,000.
“I would have traded in rice with the $40,000,” she said.
