Ghanaian singer, Black Sherif, has opened up about his relationship with afropop superstar, Burna Boy, barely a week after the release of the music video for their Second Sermon collaboration.
According to the 21-year-old, the Grammy award winner likes him because of his authenticity and uniqueness.
Blacko, in an interview, stated that he was overjoyed to know that Burna Boy liked his music because he had also been a fan of Burna Boy and admired his works.

“Burna Boy likes me because I’m real. We communicate in spite of his busy schedules and we connect very well,” he stated.
Black Sherif says he initiated the move to get Burna Boy on his song after knowing that he liked it.
“I sent him the plain version knowing very well that getting him on board will turn things around for me as an artist,” he added.
He said he also draws inspiration from the Nigerian superstar’s words of encouragement to him to work hard and pursue his dreams in the music industry.

Black Sherif had one of the most momentous moments in his career when he shared the stage with Burna Boy during his mega concert held at Lagos’ Eko Convention Center in December 2021.
