As the current crisis in Ukraine dominate international headlines, many are those who are calling for an end to hostilities and a return to dialogue by the various parties involved.

Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay, has released visuals to a song which calls for an end to conflict and a return to peaceful relations between warring countries.

The song, titled ‘Pray for the World’ and produced by record engineer, MOG, was originally released in 2021

This comes barely 24 hours after the African Union (AU) issued a statement to condemn alleged racism against Africans in Ukraine who were trying to cross the nation’s border to neighbouring countries.

An excerpt of the music video on Instagram, captioned “While we praying for the world, pray for Ukraine,” highlights the effect of conflict on ordinary citizens.
