This year marks exactly four years since Ebony Reigns died, but her music is still fresh in the minds of Ghanaians both home and abroad.
The late singer’s legendary status came to light when her music was sang by the crowd at the sold-out KiDi/Kuami Eugene concert held in London on March 6, 2022 at the Indigo at the O2 Arena over the weekend.
Ebony’s 2017 hit single, ‘Maame Hwe’ got the crowd in a frenzy as they sang a cappella to the amazement of the headline artistes.
Born on February 16, 1997, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng aka Ebony Reigns, died on February 24, 2018, the same year, she was named Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
