Barely 3 months after hitting the 1 million subscribers ‘milestone’ on YouTube, Ghana’s biggest YouTuber, Wode Maya, has finally received the video sharing site’s official gold plague in recognition of his achievement.
The vlogger made the announcement by sharing a picture of the gold-plated plaque on his official Instagram page.
Wode Maya was adjudged Content Creator of the Year at the 2022 edition of the Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAA).
Speaking to Ghana Weekend at the event, held in Accra on Saturday, February 26, the 31-year-old former aeronautical engineering student, expressed his satisfaction with the work of Ghanaian creatives and called for more collaboration between entertainers to sell Ghana to the world.
